It's not every day we get to leave the confines of New York/New Jersey to jet to a tropical island to shoot a wedding but on July 28th that's exactly what we did. Cameras in tow Jon of
Rock Life Studios boarded a plane for the Domincan Republic with our good friend Gina of Gina Esposito Photography for the wedding of Yanique and Sam.
(click here for video) If you are looking for tropical nights and amazing views on your wedding day and you are not opposed to a destination wedding then the DR is certaintly a destination to consider. With stunning cliffside views and crystal blue ocean waters it was practically impossible to take a BAD shot in this place.
The wedding took place in the stunning backdrop of Casa Kimball, a private villa resort. If one measly wedding day isn't enough for you then Casa Kimball is the place for you as the resort is rented by the week. This is exactly what Yanique and Sam did, flying in friends and family to celebrate both days before and after their actual wedding day.

The day of the wedding was beautiful (what else do you expect of a tropical island) with cool ocean breezes. The pink color scheme chosen by the couple fit right into the natural backdrop of the islands beauty. Yanique was stunning in a detailed mermaid dress and her new husband showed off his GQ style.
