SO again i have been getting asked a lot about this camera. Canon T4i. and now that I have used it on many things I can answer everyone a bit better with detail. So here is a update review. I will also soon be review the Canon 5D Markk iii and a great little video camera Canon HF G10.

I have now used this camera on a bunch of shoots from weddings to web shows and photograph gigs. If you have an option of the T4i and the canon 60D I would still say go for the 60D. for the price, Canon 60D $1,299 with a lens - Canon T4i $1,149 my vote for you is go for the 60D. The T4i will give you very good photo and video a great lens but lacks in setting. for some video samples of the T4i

Great Color, great definition BUT when your looking for options that the 60D or 5D Mark3 has just in the ISO setting alone makes this camera not worth the very little price difference between the T4i and 60D. Problems with this camera is moire and aliasing that past cameras also have along with rolling shutter. The Canon 5DMK3 also has a bit of rolling shutter problem but not nearly as bad as lower end cameras. Now when it comes to new and up coming photographer and videographers the 60D and T4i are great starting points.
After just returning from a beautiful trip to the islands I used my T4i as my main photo camera and my new canon HF G10 for all my video. Camera set up for T4i was canon 24-70L and 70-200L. With limited ISO setting on the T4i you low light options are 400-800-1600 and up with no increments between. Noise (grain) start really coming in to shadows around ISO 400 but is usable. I'm not to happy with ISO 800 and up but the color rendering holds up well. Best thing to do, look at your budget, try a friends camera if they have ether of these cameras, pull things up in light room, test some video and run it on a nice size HD flat screen TV and see what works best for you.
